Wrinkle Creams - August 30th, 2009

Many years ago I use to sell Mary Kay to my neighbors and friends. I enjoyed using many of the skins care products as well as some of the make-up. I am not much of the girlie type and pride myself as being an all natural kind of women. I use facial cleansers as well as lotions to help with the dry skin, but I have never known lotions had become so complex. You can buy firming lotion all the way to anti-itch lotions.

During my brief time as a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant I sold more make-up then actual skin care products. Which you guessed it left me with a large amount of unsold products for me to store. I did what all consults who decided the Mary Kay cult is not for them, you give your stuff away as gifts to all those family members who are having birthdays. In the left over product I had laying around I had two small bottles call day and night solution. I decided to give them a try and used up the two bottle I had of each, I really do not have a great story to tell you. I did not notice any difference in my skin. The night solution made my face seem sticky and the day solution did not keep my face moist enough. If you are currently using these products please give your advise so we can have wide variety of opinions.

Skin Creams - August 25th, 2009

I kick myself repeatedly some times for letting a good idea go un-pursued. I have thought of many things which in turned have shown up on the market many years later. The first I can recall was when I was in the third grade our teacher gave us an art project to be completed from a single line she drew across our paper. She walked around to each desk with her pen and drew a line in different areas of everyones paper and we had to turn this line into a drawing of some sort. I made a high heel tennis shoe which to this day I always thought was a great fashion design.

Granted it only came into style for such a short period of time in the 90′s it hardly registered as a blip, but I was still so proud. Later onI recall a conversations with my husband about why I do not like to wear make-up unless we are going out, he of course stating I do not need it anyway (such a the suck-up he is). I told him I prefer feeling like my face is clean and well moisturized not caked on or dry, and then came the statement I intend this blog to be about; I said I would love to have a moisturizer which also had a tone to it. How easy would it be to have your face clean and airy with a light glow?  Less then five years later I see one of the leading beauty lines has made a lotion with a tint and it seems to be doing fairly well. So now is the question to myself, Why do I not try and put my ideas to life?
